These IBCs, with a 1,000-liter capacity, serve as robust industrial containers designed for the efficient handling, transportation, and storage of liquids, semi-solids, pastes, and solids. Positioned between standard shipping drums and intermodal tank containers in terms of volume, they are referred to as intermediate bulk containers due to their size.
In addition to its IBC production, Pyramid Technoplast also creates Mild Steel (MS) Drums for packaging and transporting various chemicals, agrochemicals, and specialty chemicals. The company employs blow molding technology for the manufacturing of Polymer Drums and IBCs. Injection molding technology is used to produce various components like caps, closures, bungs, lids, handles, and lugs, primarily for internal purposes. The products are proudly marketed and sold under the brand name “Pyramid.”
Strategically dispersed across six manufacturing units, four of which are situated in Bharuch, GIDC, and the remaining two in Silvassa, the company’s operations are well-positioned. An additional manufacturing unit, the seventh one, is currently under construction adjacent to the existing facilities in Bharuch, GIDC. The combined installed capacity of their Polymer Drum manufacturing units stands at 18,837 MTPA (Metric Tons Per Annum). The IBC manufacturing unit boasts an installed capacity of 3,240 MTPA, while the MS Drums unit’s installed capacity is 3,600 MTPA.
