Central Government is now inviting online application form for PMJAY Hospital Empanelment 2024-25 under Pradhan Mantri Aayshman Bharat Yojana 2024. The formal express process to empanel hospitals through registration to deal with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has now started for all private hospitals.
Any hospital can fill the online hospital application form for enrollment under Prime Minister’s National Health Security Mission (PMRSSM). Under this Modicare scheme, the government will provide cashless and paperless benefits up to Rs 5 lakh to poor people in any government/private similar hospital with no restriction on age, family size and gender.
Ayushman Bharat Scheme Hospital Empanelment
Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2024 (PMJAY) will provide health coverage to 10.74 crore poor and deprived rural families. You can check the list of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana hospitals to find Ayushman Bharat ineligible hospitals. There are no pre-conditions for treatment and people can get health benefits only through a prescribed ID, the government wants that if “Illness does not consider any economic background then neither should the cure.
PMJAY Hospital Empanelment Online Application Form (How to apply)
The complete procedure to fill the hospital online application form for National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS) in hospitals is given below so follow the complete procedure given below to fill the online form:
- First of all go to the official website of Ayushman Bharat Scheme pmjay.gov.in
- Now click on “Hospita” tab present on the homepage and then click on “Hospital Empanelment Management (HEM)” tab: https://hospitals.pmjay.gov.in/empApplicationHome.htm?actionVal=loginPage
- According to this, the Hospital Empanelment Module (HEM) page will open for Express Empanelment of private hospitals. Here you tick mark the Yes option.
- Then Ayushman Bharat Scheme Pmjay Hospital Empanelment Online Application Form will open in front of you.
- Now select all the options given in this form like hospital State, hospital parent (single / group), contact person e-mail ID, password and Hospital Type (Public / Private (Not for Profit) / Private (Profit) etc.
- After successfully filling the form click on “Create an Account” button
Hospitals should check the empanelment criteria before registration and subsequent login. There is no need to re-register the hospital under RSBY. Hospitals can ‘login’ using the hospital reference number as RSBY hospital code as printed on your MHC and password as the pin code of the hospital.
NHA Express Private Hospital Empanelment under PMJAY
The National Health Authority (NHA) has launched express updation to bring a large number of private hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2024-23 (AB-PMJAY). This empowerment of private hospitals will continue to provide essential treatment for serious diseases like cancer and heart diseases.
This decision follows a recent decision to bring testing and treatment for COVID-19 under the AB-PMJAY scheme. The treatment of coronavirus will be done as per the protocols and guidelines of ICMR.
In the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, many medical colleges, civil hospitals and district hospitals are being converted as dedicated COVID-19 facilities. Hence Hospital Empanelment Module (HEM) Lite has been launched for patients suffering from critical illnesses like cancer, cardiovascular issues and diabetes.
All such patients requiring continued treatment will be able to continue receiving inpatient services without the fear of contracting COVID-19 infection.
This private hospital under the Ayushman Bharat scheme mechanism will also help in empowering dedicated COVID-19 hospitals. Hospitals can empower themselves for a temporary period of 3 months through the simple, user-friendly online system available on the scheme website www.pmjay.gov.in.
Timeline of PMJAY Hospital Empanelment on HEM Lite
Using HEM Lite, it will take less than 1 hour to fill the application form with documents at the hospital. The Hospital Empanelment Management (HEM) is designed to ensure that the process of approval by the concerned authorities is expeditious. For your easy reference, an experience book guidebook is also provided. If hospitals get stuck anywhere, they can call the NHA representative for prompt response and full support on form submission.
The scheme covers over 1500 health benefit packages of procedures related to secondary and tertiary care and hospitals are reimbursed at pre-determined rates. The package prices are revised from time to time and new rates were launched last year.
Over and above the listed value, incentives up to 39 per cent (cumulative) are available to hospitals for NABH entry level/full accreditation, geographical location (metro/aspirational districts) and running PG courses. To date, more than 8,804 private hospitals have been empaneled under AB PM-JAY across the country and have accounted for 51% of all treatments (96 lakh hospitalizations) and 64% of hospital admissions (₹ 13,000 crore).
The claim money is transferred by the hospital within 15 days from the date of submission of documents and there is a robust system for grievance redressal.
